Para fugir de possíveis vaias na abertura da Copa do Mundo, o mandatário
da FIFA, o suíço Joseph Blatter, decidiu que nem ele nem a presidente Dilma
Rousseff vão discursar durante a cerimônia. A precaução deve evitar novos
constrangimentos, como o ocorrido no ano passado, na Copa das Confederações,
quando a dupla foi vaiada e impedida de falar ao público. O anúncio foi feito
ontem por Blatter, em entrevista à agência de notícias alemã DPA, confirmando o
rompimento com a tradição de discursos dos chefes de Estado que recebem o
Mundial, além do pronunciamento de um representante da Fifa.
Caso cumpram a promessa de não falar na abertura, será a
primeira vez em três décadas que o protocolo é quebrado. Em 1994, por exemplo,
o presidente dos Estados Unidos, Bill Clinton, não discursou, mas foi
representado por seu vice, Al Gore. Em 2002, na abertura da Copa realizada na
Coreia do Sul e no Japão, Blatter teve sua fala frustrada por vaias e pediu
“fair play”(jogo limpo) à plateia. Só assim conseguiu terminar a exposição. Nas
duas competições seguintes, os eventos transcorreram sem grandes intervenções
negativas dos torcedores. Em 2006, na Alemanha, o então presidente Horst
Koehler e a primeira-ministra Ângela Merkel discursaram. Em 2010, um pequeno
incidente na África do Sul não chamou muito a atenção. O presidente Jacob Zuma
agradeceu à população por receber os convidados de forma calorosa, mas, em
seguida, o ex-zagueiro da Seleção Sul-africana Lucas Radebe acabou vaiado
enquanto falava.
O protesto em forma de vaia reapareceu na Copa das Confederações do ano passado
e coincidiu com uma onda de manifestações nas principais cidades do Brasil,
onde foram contestados os gastos públicos com a organização do Mundial. Em
praticamente todos os 16 jogos da competição houve protestos no entorno dos
estádios. Em muitas cidades, houve confronto com a polícia e quebra-quebra. Na
abertura, em Brasília, Dilma se limitou a fazer uma saudação formal e declarar
aberto o evento.
Para evitar que as fortes vaias aconteçam novamente em junho, Blatter confirmou
que a cerimônia será realizada de maneira que não haja nenhum discurso.
Questionado sobre a possibilidade de novos protestos, o suíço disse que não é
“profeta” para prever o que acontecerá e ressaltou que a situação no Brasil
hoje é mais calma. "Estou convencido de que os protestos sociais não vão
poder utilizar os mesmos argumentos usados na Copa das Confederações porque
eles não são válidos. Estou convencido de que a situação se tranquilizou",
concluiu.
A abertura da Copa do Mundo está marcada para 12 de junho, no Itaquerão, em São
Paulo. O evento deve se resumir a shows pirotécnicos e apresentações de
artistas antes da primeira partida, entre Brasil e Croácia, às 17h. Dilma não
se manifestou sobre a entrevista de Blatter. Em visita oficial ao Chile para a
posse da presidente Michelle Bachelet, ela esteve na manhã de ontem com atletas
brasileiros que disputam os Jogos Sul-Americanos em Santiago.
SEGURANÇA A secretária nacional de Segurança Pública do Ministério da
Justiça, Regina Miki, afirmou ontem que a Força Nacional está pronta para
auxiliar as polícias das cidades-sede da Copa do Mundo. Mesmo sem ter recebido
pedidos oficiais de ajuda, a tropa federal já tem um plano de ação elaborado
caso seja acionada. “A Força Nacional está apta para atuar em qualquer segmento
da segurança pública, seja nos jogos ou fora deles. Ainda estamos como força de
contingência, pois não temos participação requerida por qualquer estado",
garantiu. A Força Nacional também poderá agir em locais onde as seleções
estejam hospedadas ou em treinamento. Para isso, ela precisa ser requisitada
pelos governadores.
